Isabel fans, we are in for a treat! I’ve just come across the newly released teaser trailer for Loft, and it looks amazing! Isabel looks gorgeous, and it seems to be a much meatier role than she’s had before and I think she’s going to surprise us all in it. The teaser was premiered on Belgian website Vitter.be yesterday, I believe.
The movie is set for release in Europe in the Spring.

Back in October during the promotion for Immortals, Izzy dropped by the Young Hollywood Studios for a quick chat! It was a nice interview, in which Izzy talked about her Immortals gold costume and the fighting in the movie, as well as explaining some Aussie slang to everyone. Based on what she’s wearing, I’d say the interview took place on the Immortals press day, the same day as these photos were taken.

Australian beauty Isabel Lucas plays a goddess in ‘Immortals’, and after her visit to the Studio, we know why! The Immortals DVD now has a US release date – which is one day after the UK date. The blu-ray will have lots of special features, but sadly the DVD will have less.
Before Henry Cavill got the chance to flex his muscles as Superman in Man of Steel, he took on the role of Theseus in an epic battle to save mankind against a power-hungry king in Immortals. The visually stunning film from director Tarsem Singh will make its way to Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD on March 6 from Relativity and Fox Home Entertainment.
Immortals co-stars Luke Evans, Kellan Lutz, Isabel Lucas, Freida Pinto, Stephen Dorff, John Hurt and Mickey Rourke, and made $82.9 million at the box office when it was released on November 11. With a budget of $75 million, Immortals is poised to extend its gains on home video.
The Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D versions of Immortals will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, with the following selection of bonus features. Neither the Blu-ray 3D or Blu-ray 2D versions will include the DVD.

The special features on the DVD include deleted scenes and a Behind-the-Scenes featurette called It’s No Myth. Cool, right? Yeah, well on the Blu-Ray you get those features, an alternate opening called Young Theseus, two alternate endings called This Is Our Last Embrace and (SPOILER alert, we guess) Theseus Kills Hyperion, and another Behind-the-Scenes featurette enticingly titled Caravaggio Meets Fight Club. And guess what? If you buy the Blu-Ray, you’ll also get a graphic novel titled Immortals: Gods & Heroes.

This news article about todays starlets appreciating 1950′s style has just popped up, featuring a new quote from our Izzy. I don’t know where the quote came from but nevertheless, read on:
1950s Hollywood style appeals to today’s starlets
Fashion is coming full circle with red-carpet starlets ready to embrace the flared skirts, longer hemlines and loads of red lipstick coming their way in the new year. They’re looks that give a wink to Hollywood’s glamorous heyday of the 1950s, and stars far too young to find these styles old are eager to bring them back.
Eva Longoria is into the trend she calls “flirty.”
“I think of great hair,” Longoria said. “The great falls and the red lipstick, and definitely the full skirts. I think it’s flirty. The ’50s are flirty.”
Visions of Americana pop into Isabel Lucas’s head: “I think of the iconic all-American girl with the small waist dresses, and ‘Grease’ with the little ribbons around their neck.”
Maybe she just saw photos of Miuccia Prada’s spring collection, which revved up its runway with inspiration from vintage cars.

In other Immortals news, the movie has now made a whopping $196m internationally! Congrats to the cast and crew on this great achievement.
We’re at the end of another year, and it’s been a good one for Isabel, and her fans! While remaining typically low key, she has attended several events, filmed a movie or two as well as seeing the release of a couple of projects, and continued to dedicate time to her chosen causes. And then, of course, there was the Immortals hype and promotion running through the year, that culminated in a massive promotional blast and the release of the film itself in the latter part of this year. Continuing our trend of Year In Review posts, for the 3rd year running we take a look back on Isabel’s year and celebrate her continuing rise in Hollywood!

Today I have added screencaps from Home & Away episode #4164 – in this episode Tasha tries to support Robbie in his studies, as he tries to support her with her morning sickness and pregnancy, but it all gets too much for him and after losing his assignment he explodes and reveals he blames Tasha for all their current struggles, only for Tasha to overhear him.
